Microsoft revives Work & Play Bundle with Netflix and Xbox freebies

Microsoft first created the promotional Work & Play Bundle late last year, offering a small handful of its paid services like Office, Xbox Live and Xbox Music at a fair $199 combined price. Not long after the bundle promo ended, Microsoft re-released it with a new $149 price point, making the bundled deal even better. Starting today, Microsoft is running the Work & Play Bundle again, with a couple sweet additions.

Available now through Microsoft, the company's Work & Play Bundle is again available for purchase for $149. When you purchase the bundle, you'll gain access to the following products/services:

  • Office 365 Home (1 Year - Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • 1TB of OneDrive storage for up to 5 years
  • Skype Unlimited + unlimited Skype Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity
  • Xbox Live Gold (1 Year)

If you purchase the bundle by June 30, 2015 you'll also receive a 3-month subscription to Netflix and a $60 gift card to either the Windows or Xbox stores, allowing you to splurge on games, movies or music.

Missing is the Xbox Music subscription for one year which had previously been included in the bundle. Those that wish to cash in on the Netflix subscription must buy the Work & Play Bundle before the end of June and activate the subscription by October 28, 2015.
