Microsoft Stores rumored to receive new Band units today

The Microsoft Band sold out quickly almost everywhere mainly because of its very limited stock but Microsoft is supposedly shipping a fresh batch of devices to its stores today.

According to a screenshot from a supposed Microsoft Store employee, the company is getting ready to ship new inventory to its physical stores around the US. Though Band numbers will likely be limited to a few per store, more users will get the chance to try and purchase one.

Stores will, supposedly, receive the devices today and they’ll be available for purchase starting tomorrow, Saturday 3rd, in an effort to drive traffic to the company’s retail locations.

While we couldn’t verify the information here, Microsoft did say that new Band inventory would ship in “early 2015” so even if this turns out to be fake, those interested in the device won’t have to wait much longer.
