seeing as the uk is gonna get a markup where can i order (preorder if possible) one from the us?
I have been told newegg wont ship to the uk, any reccomendations?

Isn't 256MB getting a bit weedy for even mainstream cards these days? Even 320MB would be slightly better. Although I'm sure a 512MB version is in the works already. I say this cause i have a 512mb 7950GT, which i imagine is equal or slower than the 8600GTS, and i know that the 256mb equivalent of my card suffers quite a lot on higher texture quality settings in some games, even as far back as Doom 3.

Anyone like to hazard at the uk price (and if it will be available in the uk on the 17th!?!) I was looking at the 8600gt and was hoping for a uk price of £90 or thereabout. However the UK seems to get a hefty markup...

Hopefully if they are not inflated to much should be able to pick one up for £80 - £100. Probably wont be mass-availble till about July/August time though.

Can't wait to see the 3dmark scores of this small cutes...
Asking myself if a 8500GT (PCI-e) can beat my 6800

For the extra possibly only $30 more the 8600GT would be a FAR better option.

Keep in mind though it's possible these cards may be PCI Express only.
