Mininova Breaks 3 Billion Downloads Barrier

Easily one of the most popular publicly available torrent sites, Mininova has over 3 million visitors per day which places them in the list of 100 most visited websites on the Internet. The site has just broke the 3 billion downloads mark and those running the site expect the 4 billion mark to be broken in less than half a year. Mininova continues to optimize their site and server park in order to cope with the increasing traffic. After the demise of Suprnova.org in late 2004, Mininova sprang up in January 2005 and grew quickly in popularity, probably helped by the fact that it does not log IP addresses.
