I swear, it appears Mirillis has abandoned all their other software, because this is the only one getting any updates for over a year!

I've never even heard of them until Action! was released.

They've been around for quite a while, but they've abandoned all their other software and the only thing that has been getting updates is Action! and nothing else is coming out. Take a look at the Splash player comparison table, they are not even working on the new versions of Splash anymore and haven't been. They care more about Action! than their other pieces of software.

EDIT: Well, I just looked at their comparison table for Splash, they've completely dropped their other versions, as they are not even listed anymore. Splash for example hasn't had an update since early 2013.

The other problem with this company is that they don't want to take suggestions on how to make their media player software better.

I see, Isee.

Their philosophy is "no support for DVD or lower than HD", the rest works and doesn't need an update.

There were making Splash players for Blu-ray as well as a TV-like version, they've dropped them, and as far as I am concerned, they've not dropped all support for Splash and are pissing off paying customers.
