Monday PC games on sale - a new daily feature

It's the start of a new work week but saving money is something that anyone can do any day. Ever since PC games started to move towards being sold more and more via digital downloads, we have also seen increases in sales and price cuts from several of these download sites. Every day here at Neowin we plan to tell you about the new PC game sales that we are aware of. Keep in mind that some of these sales will only be available for that day only. With that said here are today's PC game price cuts as we know about them.

The Steam PC game download service begins a week of price cuts of games from Electronic Arts. It starts today with sales of all the games in the Dragon Age fantasy RPG series. Both Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age Origins Awakening are on sale from now until 1 pm Eastern time Tuesday for $14.99 each. Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition, with both games plus all nine DLC packs, is also on sale for $19.99. Finally the recently released sequel Dragon Age II is on sale for $44.99, a 25 percent discount.

The Impulse PC game download site has the space strategy game Lost Empire Immortals on sale for today only for a mere $1.99. Also the Direct2Drive download service has a number of Activision games on sale for a limited time for 50 percent off their normal prices. Finally the GamersGate PC game web site has a large amount of PC games on sale for various discounts.

Could you perhaps do UK pricing as well? We're not all living in the US.

And Australian pricing... especially since we seem to get some incredibly different prices on Steam down here.

Also, dunno if this is a temporary sale, but Amazon has Portal 2 for $34.99 (PS3 and 360) or $29.99 for PC and Mortal Kombat at $39.99 for PS3 and 360. I went ahead and bought Portal 2 since $25 drop is pretty crazy for such a popular game only like 2-3 weeks out.

Anyone who doesnt have dragon age origin: ultimate edition yet, get it now, thats a great price for that game with all the extra content.

You should just tl;dr this if it's going to be daily. Maybe just a list of games, their price, and where to buy? And a description of the game if you please? I see three paragraphs, I can't read that much!

What happened to the awesome reviews of weekly released games? I miss those.

When we get the games we review them, SOCOM was due - but the PSN downtime has ruined that one currently!

It's ruined a lot! Cool to know that they will both return though. lol.

Wouldn't this be better placed as a forum thread? I just wonder if we really need a daily article on PC games on sale filling up the front page.
