More Tekken 5 US Playtests

Namco's signature fighting game series is about to release in arcades, but you can play it early in three US cities this month!

With Tekken 5 scheduled to start hitting US arcades as early as October, Namco is gearing up to show the title at several upcoming venues. Starting tomorrow, and running through the weekend, Namco will have Tekken 5 playable at the Norridge Cyberstation arcade in the Harlem-Irving Shopping Center. The arcade is located just outside of Chicago, in Norridge, Illinois.

The version on display at the Norridge Cyberstation will be slightly further along than the version that was recently shown at the Japanese AM arcade show. This updated version is roughly 70% complete, and will feature a working card customization system. However, one thing still missing from the Norridge location test will be the PlayStation 2 controller ports that Namco will include when the game ships to US arcades later this fall.
