MSDN Library August 2006 Edition - Available Free

Microsoft have followed up on there promise to release versions of MSDN library for free by making the August 2006 edition of the MSDN Library available for download from Microsoft Downloads.

MSDN Library provides access to essential programming information, including technical white papers, software development kits and code samples necessary to develop web services and applications. This is an updated version of the MSDN Library for Visual Studio® 2005.

to make DVD (as i remember), it's necessary to make the network installation and then burn this folder...

Just wondering -- is there anything on these CDs that isn't available to read/download separately on the MSDN website?

I think you need to edit the .msi file to be able to have it install everything from one disc. I wish they would release a DVD edition of it though. I had a DVD of the MSDN Lib before, but I haven't been able to find any since then.

Extract all 3 files with WinRAR and put file together in 1 folder (so all "Program Files" folder merged together). Then run Setup.exe and you are done
