Neowin Giveaway: Intel i5 Processor

It's that time again, we're giving away an Intel i5 Processor this week. One lucky winner will be able to build their latest gaming rig or update their current setup. The processor is the Intel Quad Core i5-750.

To be in with a chance of winning this prize you simply need to complete our survey. The survey is available for registered Neowin members. You can register here (it's free) or simply login with your Facebook Connect credentials. It's 10 questions only so it's not too annoying and you'll be providing us with vital feedback to improve Neowin. Winners will be chosen at random. Full rules below:

  • Fill out the survey, you must be a registered member of Neowin.
  • You can only enter once into this competition.
  • The Winner will be chosen randomly.
  • If you are chosen, you will be notified by forum PM. Winners must respond within three days of the end of the contest. If you do not respond within that period, another winner will be chosen.
  • Winners can be anywhere in the world but you are responsible for paying any import taxes that your country imposes on goods.
  • Entries must be submitted by 23:59 GMT on Sunday, April 25 (see other time zones).

Good luck!

Edit: Congratulations to our winner King Mustard.

You have all been taken out of the competition. I hereby declare myself the winner. I'll be awaiting the confirmation PM, :-)

I sure hope that isn't the box it comes in. It's been opened and looks like it was dropped a few times.

How on earth can you tell whether or not it has been opened or not from a PICTURE? No it wasn't been opened and nor has it been dropped. Sheesh.

- no shrink wrap
- sides are curved away from interior box.

I got an i5 750 a couple of weeks ago and it didn't come shrink wrapped. The box was in a much better condition though.

Why do you complain? If you get it, you get it it for FREE

I have to say someone did an excellent job setting up this contest as opposed to the "enter as often as you want" one. You're collecting valuable feedback and provide a reason to enter.

Wish this site would get into the hardware review business & then at the end of the year host some giveaways for the product their reviewers were allowed to keep.

oooo I'm in ta very muchly haha just write gift on the box

LOL, that's a good one Imagine it coming through customs here in Holland "Ye you have to pay a fine + taxes"

Hopefully I will win this time. I'm so in need of a better processor as I'm currently using a Pentium D!

Wow the amount of give-a-ways lately means odds are at some point i may win something.... but knowing my luck it's be a night out with MVC of your choosing

Oh wow, neowin is generous these days. Another try to win will probably fail, but i am glad to leave some feedback.

i would really like to have this to force upgrade my current old pc (Athlon XP64 3500+ 2.2 single core) .. would be amazing to have! It seems like a really good give away!

Is filling out the survey enough to enter the giveway? Or, do we have to post a message here in order to enter the giveway?

Just the survey bud.

Dear Neowin,

It has come to my attention that your are currently in possession of a device that belongs to me. This letter constitutes a formal request that you return the device to me. Please let me know where to pick up the unit.

Sincerely,
Northgrove

LOL nice try.

Unfortunately any computer I have at the moment won't be able to be upgraded to an i5. So I won't be entering this one.

You could still enter, and sell it either by eBay or another means. Would bring in a good $180ish.

Entered! Why is it Intel processor boxes always look so battered, even when they're brand new. I built a new rig for a friend recently, and I was shocked that the box for the CPU looked so haggard and old, yet every other component was all pristine and shiny.

Yeah our one arrived a bit box battered but the CPU is fine, I think the boxes are just made of cheap cardboard and the paint rubs off easily.

i logged in but when i click the survey link i get this

I think there is a problem with the submission deadline, we are already on 20th...

Why is that a problem? Can't you just pop over and take it now. Seems it shouldn't be all that hard to get one's butt in gear and take the survey. Takes all of a couple minutes.

This means less change for the others and more chance for you ;-)

I just entered. I got that error message because I wasn't logged in. Are you?
