NeowINDEX 2007, Europe & North America

NeowINDEX, where we all get on the same page

NeowINDEX is Neowin's annual staff and member get together. Started in 2006 as a European only event, Neowin is proud to announce that we have expanded the event and this year will also be meeting up in the United States to accommodate our visitors and staff members who live in North America. We've got a lot of exciting events planned for Friday night and Saturday during the day and night.

Friday, April 6th, 2007 to Sunday, April 8th, 2007 in both Chicago, Illinois and Amsterdam, Netherlands -- 18 staff members will be meeting to plan for Neowin's 2007-2008 domination of the Internet, to get to know each other better and of course... have a good time.

We've got a lot of fun events planned for both locations and are encouraging members in the area of Chicago or Amsterdam to join us! (or heck, fly there if you want) But don't worry, if you can't make it, Neowin staff members attending the event will be posting up pictures and blogging throughout the weekend.

As the event draws closer we'll be posting more details. For now, please check out our thread with more information in Site & Forum Issues.

We hope to see you there!

Thankfully, it's just as easy for me to get to Amsterdam as it is to most of England thanks to having an airport on my doorstep. Needless to say, I will be going to the European event and not the American one. Maybe next year....

Does it matter? If a lot of the European Staff Members were in the UK then it would have been done in the UK.

It's being organised with Staff members in mind and all i can say is be grateful that the staff are allowing us members to visit if we can make it.

Like i said if I can travel to Holland then I would come.

What about us Aussie users? **** up at The_Decryptor's! Or we could all congregate somewhere in Adelaide (seeing as it's ridiculously cheap to fly there).

As I explained in S&FI... We picked Chicago because of its proximity to the majority of our staff and membership in both the United States and Canada. In the future we may select a different location. It would be impossible for us to economically select a location that worked out for everyone of the people involved. Our primary concern was allowing as many staff members to attend, Chicago worked well for that goal.

can you not set one up in the UK as many of us brits are just to lazy to fly to Amsterdam :p
i suggest Manchester?(for no obvious reason )
