Just curious... are people going to try to do what they did with win2k3 to longhorn server? (try to make a gaming platform out of it due to it's high performance standards and no special goodies added to make it bulk) I remember how everyone was raving OH i got server 2k3, it's super with games. I'm curious to see if this server edition might even be more impressive than Vista's performance (despite the fact this server has no media goodies etc)

Too bad they don't sell this version to the public even if it might cost a million, I had fun with 2k3. I could bench with "slightly" better results... just slightly, but it was exciting. :P

When testing out Vista, I was able to test out Longhorn Server as well.
However, it seems that I no longer have access to Longhorn Server to download the latest build.
It just shows links to Vista.

how do I apply for longhorn server participation again?

Hmm...
Did I miss something? I was in the longhorn/ie7/server beta, but it has no new server builds Must have missed an email somewhere o.0

I thought it would be under the Vista connect section, but i don't see any new builds

I remember i had to complete a short opt-in survey to determine your 'suitability' for contiuning to test Longhorn - I didnt get a confirmation email but i do have access to the new builds now.

I think the criteria was you had to be at least 13 years old or younger...and master 'cut and paste' of emails and provide leaks...LOL
