Yes, the Surface tablet is now on sale, although at the moment it has been back ordered on the Microsoft Store website for three weeks and some retail locations have reported long lines to get the new Windows RT-based tablet. That isn't stopping Microsoft from continuing to promote the product with a new video.
The new film, posted on the official Surface YouTube channel, puts a lot of emphasis on the magnesium alloy that's being used for the tablet, and even shows Microsoft testing the Surface in its labs by dropping it from a few feet in the air. Microsoft says that there are 150 steps taken to create the finish of the Surface's case.
The clip also talks about the built in kickstand for the Surface, along with the 16:9 display. It gives a shout out to its front and rear cameras and claims that people can record a college lecture with the rear camera while also taking notes from the lecture.
