New Windows Phone 8 Jessica Alba and Gwen Stefani TV ads debut

A few days ago, Microsoft posted up two new TV ads for its Windows Phone 8 operating system, one featuring actress Jessica Alba and the other with No Doubt lead singer Gwen Stefani, promoting Microsoft's latest mobile OS. Now the company has uploaded two more TV ads, and they once again have Alba and Stefani on deck.

Alba's new TV spot once again showcases the Kid's Corner feature of Windows Phone 8, but this time we actually get to see the actress best known for movies like Sin City, Into the Blue and the Fantastic Four films in the flesh.

Stefani's new Windows Phone 8 ad also shows the singer at the very end taking a phone call from her children. Before that we seen her Live Tiles screen as she receives some emails, views some images from her fashion line and even see her Office program where Stefani stores her new song lyrics.

The Next Web reports that we should see even more Windows Phone 8 commercials show up on TV as soon as this evening. The story claims that they will feature people like actor Andy Sanberg and Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton in these spots but they have yet to appear online.

Love these ads! It's a great way to show how people use WP in their daily life and how it compliments your personality. This is gonna be an awesome campaign if they keep it up

They probably don't even know what Windows Phone is.

Yup but unfortunately that's the society we live in, morons will buy anything endorsed by a "celebrity" without knowing anything about it before. Just look at all the recent endorsements the one that stick in my head are Beats by Dre...subpar headphones that are worth about £50 if that, yet because Dr Dre is on the case they sell for £200 and people still rush to buy them...

Umm.. We know Jessica for sure knows what it is and how to use it, based on the WP8 Launch event and her switch to it outside and with her company. She's an excellent choice as she has both brains and beauty.

Its not just consumer products, same thing in politics, fashion, art, .... and not just celebrity, but branding ... people want to go with the 'cool' brand. (I hope pointing that out that doesn't step on anyone's toes).

Yep, she used the Lumia 900 for quite a while, unendorsed.
