Nokia China confirms rumored Lumia 1520 specs by early listing

Nokia China has already begun listing the 1520

It looks like (most of) the leaks surrounding the Lumia 1520 'Bandit' have proven true. Some of the official specs have already shown up on Nokias official TMall Chinese website over the weekend, and confirms a 6-inch 1080P screen, 20MP camera featuring Pureview technology and Snapdragon 800 processor.

The pricing also changed since the listing became available on Sunday, from 4999 Yuan (~$820) to 5999 Yuan ($980) and has also been listed along with a details placeholder featuring an unlikely 1024x768 screen resolution, and 1200mah battery.

Other unconfirmed rumors are that it comes with 2GB of RAM, 16 and 32GB storage options, Qi wireless charging and will come in black, white and yellow. Most of the leaked renders showed a red version too, but we'll have to wait till tomorrow for the official announcement on that.

It's expected that Nokia will reveal six new products during the Nokia World event. As well as the expected reveal of the 6-inch Lumia 1520 Windows Phone at Nokia World. Nokia is also expected to show off their first Windows RT 10.1 inch tablet named the Lumia 2520. Earlier this week, yet another report claims that Nokia has a Lumia 1320 smartphone in the works, with the cool code name "Batman".

Nokia should really consider making a desktop class tablet that runs actual desktop applications instead of those childish gimmick Metro Apps designed by kids for kids.

1200 mAh?! Are you kidding me. This must be a mistake. There is no way such a big phablet has a smaller capacity battery than ALL of the current LUMIAs

I'm betting it's 3200 mAh.

No, because as far as I know, the 1520 comes with WP 8 GDR 3, not WP 8.1. Technically, that's still last gen...or this gen or whatever.

Naming convention wise, doesn't xx20 means last gen. devices?!
Shouldn't it be called 1530 or something?

They could be saving the 30 numbers for future Windows Phone 8.1, as it stands the 1520 is still a 8.0 device.

Not necessarily. For example, the Lumia 810 and 820 are both WP8 devices. The Lumia 900, on the other hand, is a WP7.5 device. Nokia doesn't follow a strict naming convention so it shouldn't be called the 1530. It's possible that "30" is reserved for WP9 devices.
