Nokia Lumia 930 press image leaks, shows off its colours

Press image of Nokia Lumia 930, which is rumoured to launch at Nokia's press conference during BUILD later today has been leaked by prominent device leaker, evleaks on Twitter.

Nokia Lumia 930, known by its codename "Martini" has appeared for the first time online and is expected to launch today. The device seen in the image is very similar to the Lumia Icon and will probably feature similar hardware specifications which include a 5-inch 1080p HD display and a quad-core 2.2GHz processor, 2Gb of RAM, 20 megapixel PureView camera and usual connecctivity options. As we can see, the phone will be available in multiple colours.

According to rumours, the Lumia 930 might not feature Windows Phone 8.1 at launch but will be upgraded later. With the Nokia press conference just an hour away, it won't be long till we find out more details about the smartphone.

I still like black on all my devices. Colors are cool tho and like them much better than the iPhone 5c colors. The darker colors are the way to go.

still waiting for the next 1020! I was hoping there will be an announcement on that ...now must resist and wait (while looking at my 925).

it looks nice but after having the 4.7in GSIII i think 5in display is too big for a phone. :( i will stick with my Lumia 928 for another year or so and see if another 4.3 - 4.7 display comes out that peaks my interests.

My only criticism is with how one the press images they clutter the start screen in such a bad way. Yes, I know its supposed to show what all you can fit, but at least arrange it so it fits the purpose of metro

Looks really good but too big for me. I don't want anything larger than 4 maybe 4.5 max (even that is on the bulky side). I hope they release a similar device with smaller screen. I understand a lot of people love walking around with larger devices but it isn't for me...

until they offer blue i'll stick to black or white
for the first time im going to say it HTC knows how to choose good colors for their phones ex: HTC8X colors

To me, the cyan and yellow are iconic Nokia Lumia colors... any model that doesn't have at least Black, Cyan, and Yellow is just a mistake. IMHO.

Yellow became iconic only after Nokia decided to launch the 920 to not launch it in Cyan. Later they added Cyan but they first made a statement by making yellow the flagship color (as well as Red to back it up). Now it's green and orange. And the design is radically different as well. I'm sure they'll release Cyan and yellow for limited markets but in my opinion its a good thing that they keep the line up fresh.

Yeah, but I think being 'iconic' and having 'iconic' colors is important too... everyone sees the cyan or yellow phone and they just know it's a Nokia Lumia. The other colors are great (and I've been advocating for that green for a long time, actually)... but they should ADD colors to their iconic ones, imho.

My point is that the yellow become 'iconic' by not allowing for a cyan at launch. The press was forced to use the yellow model in their reviews. You don't want Lumia to feel stale to the generation audience. In a year from now green too may be an iconic color. The more colors become iconic the more brand recognition Lumia has.

Dont get me wrong, I PERSONALLY love cyan. I own a cyan 920 (not available in my country, had to import one) as well as a cyan typecover for my Surface.

Here's hoping it's supported on Verizon's network. Is this similar to the Nokia Icon by any chance? Me thinks no.

Holy ####, dat orange color.
Damn near the exact comment I was writing. I may have to let go of my 1020 for that guy. If it has a MicroSD slot I'm in.

I miss red.

Red is no longer cool ever since the Nexus 5 shipped their red version of the phone. Just kidding. I like red too, my Lumia 720 is red and I use it daily, but I could give orange a go ;)

I hope there's another flagship-ish device that's between 4.3 - 4.5 inches and doesn't feature the extra column. I don't plan on replacing my 920 soon but I hope there's something that is at least a spiritual successor available for when I do.

Supposedly, we will be able to turn the extra column feature on and off.

I heard about that. I probably wouldn't use the extra column but it's nice to have the option.

However, the extra column + the new customizable background image does look kind of cool when put together.

It's either larger than the 1320, or the side buttons are smaller. Either way, they're still too "low" for my liking.
