The best set for my Gf 6600! After installing this baby my fps gone up with the same performance and quality as xp or more i believe. Nice nvidia!

I've just installed and tested those drivers. So far the only significant change is that I'm able to play GRAW 2 again. Before this driver the game was freezing and I was getting an error "Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered".

They said on nvidia.com that they've worked hard to eliminate that error in Vista. I do hope that this driver set is the end of that. It tends to be very disruptive.

Google Earth is now almost as smooth in Vista now as when it was in XP on my 8800. Shame it's taken them this long (and that it's still not as smooth) but I guess they're improving!

Cripe! Is Nvidia still that far behind on drivers since Vista's release? No wonder I can't stand them or Vista!!
Actually, just not into gaming at all, so really no reason for me to have a radical video card, but I do have 3 computers with Nvidia in them, and I hate them! Personally, Nvidia reminds me of Nero bloatware!

Nice that they are trying to catch up though. Maybe I can learn not to hate them.

You hate them soo much, yet you own 3 computers that each have an Nvidia card? That makes no sense at all.

The ATI drivers aren't exactly the greatest on Vista either. All kinds of companies are still late on drivers.

Can you ever make a post where you're NOT complaining about something?

The beta drivers for XP work perfectly fine or stick with the last offiical XP release. No reason to get soo upset. Don't depend on someone at Neowin posting when they're out when you can simply look on Nvidia's site.

I did look on Nviia's site. There was no 163.69 WHQL for XP there, so I though I'd ask here and see if anyone had modified the driver to be installable for XP as well. In the past, when Nvidia has released Vista-only WHQL drivers, people have modified them to be XP-installable too.

As for your personal attack about me "always complaining" and "Depending on someone at Neowin" and such:
I wasn't complaining, and I certainly don't depend on people at Neowin for all my information. You notice those curly things that look like bent exclamation points at the end of my sentences? That should have been your fist clue that I was making interrogatory statements, otherwise known as questions. Come back at me with some more pathetic attempts at insults once you've mastered the basics of the english language, and I'll be sure to mock you some more, OK?
