Office 365 spontaneously drops out of beta, pricing shows up

Microsoft is due to announce the Office365 release to the public on June 28, but is yet to break the silence surrounding the products release. Today, Microsoft dropped the beta tag from the product, made available pricing and release notes to the public online. Just now, Microsoft stated that they will make a live Microsoft Office 365 announcement with Steve Ballmer, which can be viewed here.

The pricing plans for enterprise range from $10 to $27.00/user a month (USD), and start from basic email services, and range right up to including Email, Lync Online, SharePoint, Office Web Apps and a monthly subscription Office desktop applications. Pictured below are the pricing plans (view in full here for enterprise):

The company also made available pricing for small to medium businesses, priced at just $6/month per user. The small business plan allows up to 25 users, and includes Exchange Online, Office Web Apps, SharePoint Online, Lync Online and spam protection from Microsoft Forefront. More information is pictured below:

Office365 is a collection of Microsoft products, including Hosted Exchange, SharePoint Online, Lync Online, Office Web Apps and more, and is Microsoft's first real competitor to Google's Gmail email product for small businesses. We expect an announcement to be made about the product sometime during June 28, if Office 365 NZ is accurate. This lines up with what we're seeing right now.

For even more information on the release, check out the Office365 release notes here.

More as we hear it, Steve Ballmers' address is due to start at 3PM GMT (London)...
