Official Windows Phone Gear online store launched

Would you like to buy a Windows Phone t-shirt? What about a Windows Phone mug or a water bottle? If that's your dream, you can now live it with the launch this week of the official Windows Phone Gear online storefront. Launched in association with Cafe Press, the Windows Phone Gear store currently has a limited selection of items.

However, that selection does include t-shirts for men, women, kids and even infants that show how much you really love Windows Phone with their own version of "I Heart Windows Phone". You can also get a coffee mug, a water bottle, a thermos, a drinking glass, several types of magnets, stickers and a tote bag with the same logo.

In a post on the official Windows Phone blog, Microsoft says that it will be adding more items to the Windows Phone Gear storefront. Microsoft also says that the pricing point for this swag is very low, claiming, " ... we’re not making any money off of this."

When can I order the "Yay, my current-gen Windows Phone probably won't be updated to version 8"-shirt?

Circle? Should it be squares for Windows Phone 8?

Metro buttons are circular, the tiles are square. I can see where you've got your confusion from.
Whats interesting is if you lift his arm up, he has ... under there

I love my phone, really I do.

Do I want mugs and T-Shirts declaring that fact? Not particularly. Do I want to pay for the privileged of wearing your billboard? ,,|,,

Still old logos...hmmm

We don't know if they're going to use the new Windows 8 logo for WP8 as well, though that's what everyone thinks they will do. I expect they will also but even if it's the older one you still understand what it means.

If you mean the Windows logo, WP7 is the currently shipping version. You don't change the logo of shipping products to a beta product's logo, otherwise you create confusion in the market. If they have a new logo for WP8, when they start shipping WP8 they will update to use the new one.

The awkward moment when Microsoft launch a Windows Phone store and you already have most of the items... <_<

With that said I have WP tshirts that the store doesn't. :>
