Olympics alert to hacking threat

Officials in Athens are developing plans to counter attacks on IT infrastructure. "We need to be alert and cooperate with other countries and with the specialist electronic crime unit". The newspaper added that electronic scoreboards, traffic lights, utilities and air traffic networks were high on the list of possible targets that security experts would try to make hacker-proof before the Games.
