Own a Hercules PowerVR cards? Your not going to be pleased

I just heard this from a very reliable neowin source- thanks to that man.

There is a major error on all Kyro / II based cards, and currently, they are unable to do much about it.

"well I own a Kyro II based card and been having alot of problems with it.

anyway I've been talking to them for a month now and yesterday they cameout clean on how they have this problem with the Kyro cards which they can not fix at the moment and it is giving a major problem to most of their Kyro users. They've been working on a fix and now requesting all people with the error to send a sisoft sandra check log to help them fix it up."

This email was sent to my friend with the card

"Dear Customer,

We have been receiving a couple of emails with this problem. Our R&D dept is currently looking into this. Could you please send us your system specs as per the text below, also with your name, phone number and email address, thank you."

This writer did infact phone Kyro's uk offices, yet unfortunatly they were unable to comment.

Update 1

The card will give blue screens on most recent games and mostly only games using the Quake 3 engine would work games such as Warcraft 3, Renegade (problem with the bink player) UT2k3 etc will not work and will eather restart your computer or get you into a blue screen (problem is on XP and .net).
