Patched Android 4.3 update rollout resumes for Samsung Galaxy S4 users

Android 4.3 Jellybean has been nothing but a headache for Samsung and its partners. This iteration of Google’s OS is once again available for download on Samsung devices and hopefully it won’t get pulled again.

Many Samsung devices had stability issues with the Android 4.3 update including the Galaxy S III and the company’s flagship, the Galaxy S4. The issues were so bad that the update was finally pulled from the servers while Samsung worked on a patch to fix the issues.

And now it finally looks like the update is ready to be rolled out again for Galaxy S4 owners. After initially being confirmed by AT&T for their own customers, S4 owners in Europe are now reporting seeing the update as available.

So far it seems to only be available on Kies, but if you don’t mind waiting a few days it should show up as an over-the-air update in no time. Android 4.3 itself brings only minor changes but the added features from Samsung, including Galaxy Gear support and Touchwiz updates, make this version of Jellybean an important update.

There’s no word on when the update might resume for the rest of Samsung’s Galaxy line but hopefully it won’t be too long now.
