PC gaming isn't quite dead yet

Daniel Morris of PC Gamer fame has posted a very good article on the current state of the PC Gaming industry. While most people are putting the final nail in the coffin so to speak, he makes some very good points on current retail sales trends, the growing MMO market and other areas. In fact, he is quick to point out that the MMO, FPS and RTS genres have seen an estimated 5 to 10% increase in market share recently. He also makes it clear that no other platform had such formidable AAA titles in the 2nd half of this year such as F.E.A.R., Civilization IV, Age of Empires III, and of course Battlefield 2 (not to mention World of Warcraft's continued mega sales).

He touches on other subjects as well. It is a very good read, and comments are welcome.
