This program uses more memory than Firefox with 20 plugins.

When i view a new page the program uses more memory for each page.

In my opinion Foxit is the best, it's the faster that i've used, and i don't care (at all) the thumbnails of the pages, who know if it will be added soon.

SumatraPDF stinks, can't even copy text from unprotected pdf's! What's up with that?! PDF-XChange Viewer seems better than Foxit now, because for one it can show page thumbs on the left like Adobe's.

Well, in the latest version (0.8 ), you can copy text to the clipboard by doing ctrl+click to select the text. They have even added a table of contents and search ability.

Now I will admit, SumatraPDF is not for everyone. It's good enough for me though. I just love the simplicity of the program.

I personally use SumatraPDF! It is portable and compact! A single EXE application, with a single DAT file for storing settings? What's not to like? :)

As for this PDF viewer being as slow as Adobe Acrobat/Reader and using too much RAM, I don't think it does. Honestly, nearly any modern Web browser starts up using more RAM. Well, yeah, because of everything a browser has to support, right? Yes, that's true. And considering the fact that this PDF viewer supports every version/incarnation of the PDF standard, I'd say a little bit of RAM is a just sacrifice. Besides, Adobe takes a heck of a lot longer to load unless you still use one of the older versions. I think the last fast version was like Adobe Acrobat/Reader 5.x.

Use what you like, but I'm gonna stick with SumatraPDF. It is fast, it is small, and it works.

Edit: What is up with the escaping of single quotes!?

Unfortunately as slow as Adobe Acrobat, and uses insane amounts of RAM. Foxit is still the best Windows solution for PDF viewing.
