Prince of Persia sequel goes gold

Ubisoft's darker iteration on the Prince of Persia franchise comes to light on multiple consoles December 2; was originally dated for mid-November.

Ubisoft today announced that Prince of Persia: Warrior Within for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube, and PC has gone gold and is off to production. The title, originally scheduled to release on November 15, then moved to November 30, is now going to be on store shelves December 2. The delay likely had more to do with the cluster of blockbuster titles, including Halo 2 and Half-Life 2, being released in mid-November than production tweaks for the action/adventure title.
