Every month Xbox Gold subscribers get the chance to download a few games from Microsoft’s catalogue for free. And this time, the offer really features some great titles.
For those of you on Xbox One, March’s Gold title will be Rayman Legends, worth around $40 in the Xbox store. Rayman, ever since its revival a couple of years ago, has been a fan favorite, thanks to its appealing graphics and fun gameplay. And while $40 might be a bit of steep price for an older title, the free version is definitely worth getting.
Meanwhile, on the Xbox 360, Gold subscribers will be able to pick up Tomb Raider before the 15th of next month. This is the gritty, darker reboot of the franchise that was well received by many when it originally launched. It’s currently valued at $20 in the Store.
Finally, Xbox 360 owners are also getting another game in the second half of the month. This title needs no introduction, it’s Bioshock Infinite. This is widely considered to be one of the best video games of all time and it still holds up today.
Finally, Microsoft announced that April will be double games month, with Gold subscribers receiving double the number of games for free: Xbox One owners will get two, while Xbox 360 fans will get four.
