Red Dead Redemption is coming to Xbox One Backward Compatibility

This Friday, Red Dead Redemption will be added to the list of Xbox 360 games that are backward compatible with the Xbox One.

What makes it even sweeter is that the game is on sale as part of Microsoft's Ultimate Game Sale. You can grab it for just $10.49, but if you're an Xbox Live Gold member, you can get it for $7.49.

Here is the game description:

America, 1911. The Wild West is dying. When federal agents threaten his family, former outlaw John Marston is forced to pick up his guns again and hunt down the gang of criminals he once called friends. Experience an epic fight for survival across the sprawling expanses of the American West and Mexico, as John Marston struggles to bury his blood-stained past, one man at a time.

It's likely that Red Dead Redemption isn't the only Xbox 360 game that will be added to the list this week. Last week, Microsoft added four games and the week before, the company added eight games.

By our count, the number of backward compatible games stands at 214 (not including Red Dead Redemption, as that won't be added until Friday). You can always keep an eye out for your favorite game, as the list is rapidly expanding.
