Atari has announced the development of RollerCoaster Tycoon 3. The amusement park sim will feature 3D graphics and a new viewpoint that allows players to ride the coasters. Cambridge-based Frontier Developments is developing RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 in conjunction with Chris Sawyer - the creator and sole developer of the franchise. The product will also feature new elements for which fans have been asking - including a greater diversity of guests and intelligent group behavior. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 will ship in time for the 2004 holiday shopping period.
