Rolling Thunder is a go, Lumia 900 pre-orders open up

If you have been itching to get in line for the Lumia 900, the wait is over, if you don’t mind pre-ordering online that is. The Lumia 900 is officially up for pre-order on AT&T and as expected, the device comes in at $99.99 on a two year contract or $449.99 sans contract.

The Lumia 900 is the flagship device all Windows Phone fans have been waiting since it was first announced back at CES in January. With a 4.3in display, LTE, 8 MP camera and a low entry price, on paper, the device looks like a winner.

We had a chance to play with the Lumia 900 back in January, and at that time, we were thoroughly impressed with what Nokia had created specifically for the US market. Now that the pre-order doors are wide open, it is time to see if the consumer is ready to make the jump.

Nokia is reportedly going to be bringing a bombardment of advertisements in conjunction with the launch to help raise awareness for its device. Nokia in the past few years has been absent from US soil (for the most part) but the Lumia 900 marks the big return for the manufacturer and you can bet that Microsoft will be watching closely too.
