It appears that some internal Samsung documents have leaked out, and Engadget has the scoop. Samsung already has plans for the Samsung Galaxy S II, the Galaxy Tab II, a 4-inch 3D display handset and LTE-based cloud gaming.
First off, the Samsung Galaxy S II will pack a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display at 800 x 480 resolution. The device will also pack a 1Ghz dual-core ARM processor, NFC, Bluetooth 3.0 and probably the best part, a 24Mbps HSPA+ chipset for lightning fast surfing speeds. According to the documents, the Galaxy S II will measure in with a depth of just 8.49mm, smaller than the iPhone 4.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab II will feature Androids new 3.0 Honeycomb operating system, which is designed for tablet use. The Tab II appears to also be running the same processor as the Galaxy S II, a 1Ghz dual-core ARM processor. The next version of the Tab will have a slightly larger resolution of 1280 x 800, and is rumoured to come in three flavours of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.
There was also some interesting information about the future of Samsung and its devices. Samsung is apparently working on a 4-inch WVGA display handset with 3D capabilities. The handset is said to feature a "Motion UI", which allows the user to navigate through applications like Google Maps and Street View just by tilting the device.
Lastly, Samsung is said to have big plans for LTE in its future products. The company might be working on a 4G HDTV using dual-display technology, with the possibility of cloud-based gaming. Although the details are still scarce, the above details give us a good roadmap of what to look out for in 2011 from Samsung.
