When you're communicating with somebody via text, it's sometimes hard to tell if they're being sarcastic or not. A company named Sarcasm, Inc. has set out to stop this confusion with a new punctuation mark which they've dubbed the 'SarcMark.'
The move has left many leaving sarcastic comments of their own, albeit it without this new form of punctuation, as it's rather doubtful that many will start using it. You can get your own SarcMark for $1.99 from the company's website, which you can then insert into your own sentences by using Control + Full Stop. The official description from Sarcasm, Inc. reads as follows: "The official, easy-to-use punctuation mark to emphasize a sarcastic phrase, sentence or message. Once downloaded to your computer or cell phone, it’s a quick key-stroke or two to insert the 
® where you want, when you want, in your communications with the world. Never again be misunderstood! Never again waste a good sarcastic line on someone who doesn’t get it!"
Paul Sak of the firm behind the SarcMark (which is the symbol you should see in the previous paragraph) believes it has some serious potential, allowing deaf people to pick up on sarcastic lines in subtitled films, according to The Telegraph.
