Second-tier makers using new Nvidia GPU

Albatron Technology, Biostar Microtech International and Leadtek Research announced the availability of their respective new graphics cards featuring new Nvidia GeForce 7900 GS and 7950 GT chips, with the former providing optional HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) support and the latter with full HDCP support, immediately following Nvidia's launch of the chips on September 6.

According to Nvidia's press release, the SLI-ready GeForce 7900 GS graphics processing unit (GPU) is available now. Graphics cards based on this GPU will presumably be priced between US$199-249. The Nvidia GeForce 7950 GT GPU will not be available until September 14, with graphics card expected to retail between US$299-349.
