Security glitch in Mac OS X?

Forgotten your Mac OS X Screensaver password? No problem... Obviously if you're relying on a screensaver password to protect your sensitive data, you probably deserve whatever you get...

A REPORT on a board claimed there's a way to circumvent security on the machines running the latest version of Mac OSX, by crashing a locked screensaver and recovering the desktop.

According to the filing, if you leave a key pressed for five minutes or more and then press the Return key, that crashes the screensaver and gives you access to the desktop.

The person who filed the report claimed that he's notified Apple of the hole but hasn't had a reply from the firm.
