Skydrive images now post natively on your Twitter timeline

If you are a prolific user of Twitter and Skydrive, you will know that, up until today, you could only post links to your stream. That all is changing today as Skydrive images now appear in your feed.

It appears that this change went earlier live today and we first spotted it when @arcadily posted a photo from his Skydrive account and it appeared natively in our feed. While this is not a ground breaking feature as other services currently offer this same functionality, for those what use Twitter, Skydrive, and Windows Phone, this will be a welcomed edition to the social network.

Skydrive is an integral part of Microsoft's future plans as it is the cloud service that ties all of their platforms together. By introducing this small, but important feature for Twitter users, it will make adopting the platform even easier and the timing could not be better as Microsoft is rolling out Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8.
