Did you know that your chats are (since long ago) not p2p? ONLY reason I see is to spy by NSA. All chats are rerouted through M$ servers now.

Correct me if I am wrong...

Everyone knows that because it's common knowledge and has been for yeeeeears. Nothing to do with NSA, considering virtually every other chat program also runs their chats through servers.

The underlying codebase for Skype is more contemporary and maintainable; with the rejiggering of authentication directories, it would probably take Microsoft more time to adapt WLM than to simply extend Skype.
