They've gone way overboard with the font rendering. It's super fuzzy and small fonts look terrible with it. It's the exact same thing you get if you install mac type and just leave it on the standard profile.

Halfway between Chrome and the look they went for in the end would have been great.

It also needs to be way more customisable. If you're going to make a big thing of font rendering, let people tweak it.

i just tried it out, the interface is very coold and fun and the fact that its different and one has to change their browsing habit (interface-wise) is really fun for me

but the application load is slow, first parts of the interface load, then its the full interface and then pages, which happens in about 7-8 seconds, which i find slow and discouraging

its using webkit, but not just webkit, its full chrome on the inside (although on html5 test it identifies as sleipnir 5 on windows xp)

but it feels so incomplete and as if its out of beta

sleipnir reminds me of maxthon where witch each version they dramatically change the interface, its not bad, but just polish it before officially launching it

this is what it looks like:

The old interface was much more stable, Sleipnir 5 new UI was on mac for quite a while now, but it looks like they just introduce it to windows. Hopefully since this is the first release, the new interface will be improved much like the new Opera browser.
