SMS 2003 SP1 Hotfix

If the computer name of a Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 SP1 Advanced Client is changed, the delta hardware inventory that is created following the rename will be rejected. This causes a resync, or a full inventory to be submitted. Additionally, all inventory history for the previous computer name will be removed from the SMS site database.

Note: Current inventory information for the new computer name is retained. Only the inventory history is removed.
