NetCaptor can best be described as a custom browser application. NetCaptor is a standalone application that uses services provided by Microsoft Internet Explorer to render and navigate HTML. NetCaptor currently requires Internet Explorer to be installed on the client computer in order to function.

This build fixes IntelliMouse functionality under XP and some other configurations; adds a File > Open File menu; and corrects several minor cosmetic issues.

Bugs
  • Fixed IntelliMouse problems under IE6, ME, XP with back, forward buttons not working correctly.
  • Expanded width of PopupCaptor, Url Blocking dialogs and fixed sizing problem
  • Fixed bug where selected language file check was not displayed in View > Languages menu
  • "Enter Registration Key" form is no longer resizable
  • PopupCaptor and Url Blocking forms are no longer resizable

Changes
  • Added File > Open File... menu item that opens an Open File Dialog. File > Open is restored to opening the Open Location Dialog.
  • Max Favorites caption length display restored to 45
