With PE Explorer you can view, edit and repair the internal structures of portable executable files with the click of a button. File headers, data directories, section headers and import/export tables are all laid bare for your inspection.
You can use PE Explorer to analyze source code, correct checksums, to repair damaged resources, to check your programs for viruses and worms or to modify the internal arrangements of PE files.
PE Explorer can handle a variety of different PE ("portable executable") file types: EXE, DLL, SYS, MSSTYLES, OCX, CPL, SCR and more. Support is provided for nearly every type of binary resource imaginable.

  • XP Styles (*.msstyles) added to the Open file type list.
  • XP Visual Style Manifest Wizard - allows your ordinary application to take advantage of the new common control styles and appearances featured in Windows XP after a manifest has been inserted into the resource section.

Mouse Feature
  • You can do even more with your mouse. The two extra buttons let you go Back and Forward in your Internet browser without clicking the toolbar. Or you can reassign them to a command or keystroke you use more frequently.
  • Using the included IntelliPoint mouse software, you can customize the mouse buttons to fit your personal working style. You can reassign all of the buttons - including the wheel button - to perform a command or open a file or Web page.
  • Simply roll the wheel to move around in documents
