As I was browsing the internet as usual, I cam upon a very nice site that has an interesting program to offer, It's called Moodstats, it's very original. Here is wat the site says about their program:
- What is Moodstats?
Moodstats is an application that allows you to quickly record & rate how your day has been in six different categories. You can also attach comments to these values to further illustrate why your moods are the way they are.
After you've entered at least three days of data into the program, Moodstats springs into action and begins to generate multi-colored graphs & statistics showing you exactly how your moods have been over the last week, month, two months, six months or year.
Try to think of it as a personal diary or journal, with the added bonus of the ability to synchronize your data with the global Moodstats server (and thereby invite others to see how your moods have been).
You can also pull down data from other Moodstats users and compare yourself with the mood of your friends, lovers or complete strangers. It's a voyeur's dream come true! (Privacy freaks, however, will be happy to hear that you can choose exactly how much data you want to share with others).
Other key features include a handy printing function so you can document your emotional ups & downs to your shrink (or unsuspecting relatives), keyboard shortcuts for advanced users, a built-in diary functionality suited for the Kirk Cameron in all of us, and enough customization options to suit even the most obsessive control freak!
Wow! So ... what are you waiting for? Download the program, pay the shareware fee, and we promise that you'll live happily ever after!
While PHP can be installed on other Web site software, the flaws only affect those Web servers running on top of the Linux or Solaris operating systems, according to an advisory released by German security and Internet software company e-Matters.
In the past, Microsoft's Internet Information Server has had a href=http://news.com.com/2100-1001-268608.html target=_blank>slew of problems with flaws in its components that allowed hackers and worms to break in. This time, the software appears not to be vulnerable, even if it's using PHP.
The flaws, a collection of heap overflows and problematic boundary checks, could crash vulnerable servers or allow attackers full access to them, said the advisory. Different flaws affect various versions of PHP, from 3.10 to 4.1.1.
Ullrich and the PHP Web site recommend that Linux and Solaris Web sites using PHP upgrade their software to the latest version, 4.1.2, which solves the problem.
The Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) Coordination Center at Carnegie Mellon University also
warned of the flaw Wednesday.
Ullrich said the problems posed by the vulnerabilities are heightened because security experts are uncertain how widely knowledge of the flaws has spread.
"There are these two camps. The disclosure people shout and say they have a new exploit," Ullrich said, referring to "exploit code," or programs capable of taking advantage of the software flaws, "and the non-disclosure people hold on to it and use it to attack certain sites, and trade them in IRC chat rooms."
Ullrich believes the latter group may have had exploit code for as long as a month.
