Jimbo has released a new Beta of BackNews. It allows users to grab the latest news, forum posts, etc. off a website's xml backend.

Beta 2 Build 1080 is now available for download. This release includes the following new features/bug fixes:

• Less flicker!
• Improved Desktop Mode appearance while dragging.
• Error message when backend can't be loaded.
• Revamped Settings UI.
  
• Added confirmation to removing a backend.
• Fixed crash on exit.
• New icon.
• No longer dependant on the Internet Transfer Control.
• Removed dead and useless code.
