Thanks Cold from Winbeta.org

The rising stars in ftp clients, Eonix, have released another beta of their new ftp wonder Codename Pluto Professional leaking on to the NET, coming in at build #1843. This build includes further speed & stability, bug fixes and some nice UI changes.

Extra info: I have also been informed by Eonix that there are still places for beta testing.

I swear I've been reading about this here at neowin.net for what seeems like more than a year. Now in all reality, this is just an ftp client, from what I can tell..sure there are claims of unreal speeds...but it looks like just an ftp client, and hasn't caused much of a stir on these forums....which you'd think it would if it was "all that". As well, if this is still PRE beta1, the beta period for a simple ftp client (which apparently still doesnt do fxp lol), will be longer than the beta period for whistler....which we all remember. Anyways, it would just be nice to see SOMETHING happen....with this ftp client.

I know really. And like I said the last time there was a post about this, the GUI is ripped from an open source (GPL) ftp client.I hope by 'UI Changes' they removed any GPL code. CMON PEOPLE PLEASE! YOU BEING PAYED TO POST THESE?
#7.1 King_John on 30 Sep 2002 - 18:32
As was said before, it's not ripped and there is no code from the open source project in it. Many UI's look the same, just like the guy in the post below said, CuteFTP look similar at all?

The UI seems rather familiar. CuteFTP anyone?
