Nero is a flexible, reliable, and easy-to-use application designed to write to both CD-R and CD-RW discs. It supports ISO 9660 images, as well as ISO mode 1 and XA mode 2, and allows for on-the-fly disc recording, in addition to overburning (if supported by hardware). Nero also supports multisession and mixed-mode recording; HFS, ISO/HFS hybrid, UDF, PSX, OFAS (optimal file access speed), track-at-once (TAO), and disc-at-once (DAO) writing; and digital audio extraction. In addition, Nero can dynamically disable automatic-insert notification, and it offers support for multiple languages and works with all major models of CD-R and CD-RW drives.

Last year AOL went back to court claiming CN Productions had "violated" the court's injunction by continuing to send more than a billion unwanted porn emails.

In its complaint AOL also alleged that CN Productions had accounted for a quarter of all junk email complaints about adult Web sites and had generated as much as $8m in "illegal gains".

The US District Court of the Eastern District in Virginia agreed and awarded AOL statutory damages totalling almost $7m.

In a statement Randall Boe, executive VP and General Counsel of AOL, said: "This is an important legal victory in the fight against spam and it sends a clear, distinct message to spammers: AOL is prepared to use all of the legal and technological tools available to shut down spammers who inundate the mailboxes of AOL members with unwanted and often offensive junk e-mail." ®

Well, the main thing about this release is that this is the first one with mp4/AAC encoding and decoding support.

Before you were able to create a bootable cd of w2k slipstramed with service packs on nero, but since a few versions back it seems to have lost that feature?anyone noticed it?Now I can only create boot cds that copy the boot sector from floppy disks.
