I meant to (and forgot to) download JetAudio for weeks a few months back. Figures that it's currently impossible to get because their FTP's gone down. Why, God, why ::shakes fists:: :disappoin

awesome player. though it takes a lot of system resources to load, it's just as good as winamp 2, maybe even better. i rather use this than winamp 3.

I used the old JetAudio (i think version 4) in the past and really hated it... crappy interface etc. But this one is just really really good, very nice. Might just replace Winamp here

I was wondering what kind of nasties were bundled with this when I saw the download size -- 16MB seems extremely heavy, even for something loaded with these features. Then again, maybe I'm spoiled and similar products I've tried have just been put together by more "efficient" coders intent on keeping their apps small and neat and clean. I'll scan if/when my download completes. I'm on dialup, 40 minutes left (if it doesn't kill itself again)

scanned with Ad-Aware and Spybot-Search&Destroy; they both say it's clean

The 4.0 version was sweet, best media player that supported many formats, including the crappy RM, RAM formats. only problem was ugly skin. looks like that is fixed!

I've been playing with this for ten minutes and doubt I've discovered *half* of what it's capable of. I'm definitely hooked (and I've been a loyal winamp user since '9, anyone *not* using this is missing out. It's far more stable (and far less resource intensive!) on this box than WinAMP 3x has ever been. My only complaints are the fact that the default skin is huge, and transparency is acting extremely weird (I probably just need a reboot). Mmm, built in hotkey controls!! This just gets better and better. I'm all excited, I feel like a 12 yr old who's just discovered his dad's Playboy collection

Yeah, I'm very impressed with this new version. For some reason I always thought JetAudio was some lame knock off of Realaudio, you know, some lame attempt at another proprietry streaming format and all. I guess I was wrong, wow was I wrong. I totally love this app, it's already replaced Zinf and QCD as my default mp3 player, and it does sooo much more. Amazing!
