Heres another update to the "stripped" version of KaZaA thanks to betas.intercom
    Extra improvements:
  • Unlimited number of sources per file is now possible, the default maximum is set at 40 however in KaZaA lite, this value can also be changed in the registry
  • Find more sources time limit now set to 1 minute (was 4 minutes in the previous version)
  • Kazaa Lite will scan your shared files every 5 minutes (instead of every 1 minute), this value can also be changed in the registry and should greatly reduce the amount of system resources used
  • The customized start page will now also work when you don't install into the default location, it can even be changed to any page you want in the registry
  • Now when you tell Kazaa Lite to start when your computer starts, K++ will be automatically started
  • Installer doesn't overwrite all settings anymore, but uses old ones if possible
  • My Shared Folder default location moved to My Documents
  • Sig2dat links now work without restarting
  • &noad=0 in search window is now gone
  • SpeedUp 2.0.1 is included
  • What's New in KaZaA Lite 2.0.2

    Cracked K++ 2.0.2 build 2003-01-14:
  • Fixed all bugs introduced in builds from 2003-01-12
  • My Shared Folder now placed by default on the system drive (where Windows is installed), usually this is C:My Shared Folder, this should be the best for most people, the folder can be changed in KaZaA Lite options
  • Shortcuts to My Shared Folder are now dynamic, they will always work, regardless of the location of your shared folder
  • Updated build number and build date in about screen
  • Added shortcut keys to the program

What kind of junk is this?!?! He didn't even take out the blank icons. And its a unstable pos. I download an mp3, but it doesn't change from a .dat file to .mp3 file when it completes. And you can even look thru the categories in the My Kazza Lite thing Maybe its just my computer - but this thing sure is a piece of shit. I'll stick with WinMX.

I had that problem with the .dats not changing to .mp3s. A restart of Kazaa fixed it though so I'm not really bothered.

It won't connect if you have installed over the top of an older version of Kazza. Uninstall your old Kazza and then install the new one. I had this trouble but now it works fine.

Installed this version over my Kazaa Lite 2.0.2 + Diet Kaza installation. I can see no changes, and my level is not 1000... What have I done wrong?

You cant get rid of the blank icons, ive tried that with reshack cos when you remove them you just get this error when you try to open KaZaA so i guess it prolly tries to see if those menus/icons/etc are there... Peace ~EmoAddict15 of iNFLUENCE
