This new version (2.01) fixes alot of bugs and add some very minor new features. For the complete list of changes and news visit the Msgplus Forum.

There also a pretty cool easter egg in this version, when you type /patchou in a messenger window - give it a try :).

Instructions for Uploading Digital Evidence to NASA

For anyone who has recorded video or taken photos that they believe may be of aid in the investigation of the Space Shuttle Columbia accident, NASA has established a special location on the Web where Internet users may upload their media files to be reviewed by NASA.

Using the FTP method of your choice, log on to the server 38.201.67.72 as "anonymous," using your e-mail address as your password.

Example:
User ID: anonymous
Password: john_doe@hotmail.com

Along with any image or video file that you wish to upload, please include a text file containing your name and a detailed description of the time and location at which the image or video was taken.

Example: I, John Doe, recorded this video in my front yard at 1111 My Street in Nacogdoches, Texas, at 7:55 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003.

Please be sure that your media file and your text file conform to the following naming convention: your first and last name, an underscore, the date the files are being uploaded, another underscore and the time the files are being uploaded. Other than the file extension (.jpg, .txt, .rm), the names of the two files you upload should be the same.

Please note that files contained on this site are not listable. Therefore, users will not be able to view any files uploaded to the server, including their own.

If you have any problems uploading your files, please e-mail Mike Koester ( michael.koester1@jsc.nasa.gov ) of the Johnson Space Center.

Here is the list ofchanges.... Big bug fixed (could be considered as a new feature) : you can now mix as many emoticons as you want with as many multi-format tags as you want and everything will be displayed fine! I'm sure a lot of people will be happy, including people that want to use multi-format tags in their nickname. Auto-update feature debugged. You can use Messenger 3.6 even if Messenger Plus! 2.00 is installed. Added registry option to diplay AM/PM time with Personalised Away message. Uninstaller is more carefull when deleting files. Also, it properly removes your Messenger Plus! preferences from the registry now. New invisible feature added to ensure that Messenger starts AFTER Messenger Plus! when Windows starts. You can now use special tags with commands. Added an option to auto-save logs at a specified interval. By default it is 30 minutes (if you're paranoid, you can put this value to 1 minute). Logs are properly saved even when the file is originally read-only. Always On Top option in Messenger is never removed automatically for nothing. No more crash when Messenger 5 can't be properly hooked in Windows XP. Messenger 5 / XP compatibility improved. In the log files, the Session start date should be always good now. Personalised Away little improvements: when already in this mode, going to the Perso Away screen again displays the current text to allow quick corrections. Also, you can switch from one perso-away mode (using shortcuts) to another without having to put yourself back online before. Added a very simple easter egg... just some kind of credits. I wanted that for a long time .

Looks like if you are restricting Pop-ups you don't get their site. Anyone have a mirror?

Patchou's host suspended his account because Plus is too popular... he's working on getting a new server. Forums are still up: http://msgplus.mybboard.com/ Download mirror page: http://sock.demon.co.il/mp2/

Shouldn't this be entitled, "MSN Messenger Plus!" instead of MSN Plus?

The real name of the software is "Messenger Plus! Extension." There's nothing about "MSN" in there...

When you min and max the messenger window, it leaves a line on your desktop. Doesn't happen with it uninstalled or trans. enabled. When msn looses it's connection, the banner reappears unless you completely exit.

Why do You have that web-page? None of the sitenames/pages comes up ?? Or do You have an infamous DNS that won't share through the World?
