Opera has been hailed as the fastest browser on earth by users and press worldwide. Opera uses less memory and less space on your hard drive than competing browser applications, making you more productive on the Web.

What are you joking me? You obviously havn't seen the changelog of beta1. There are plenty of new feature and long needed bug fixes in 7.1 and who knows, there might be a beta3.

Bug fixes...God I hope so. I started using Opera at 7.0 and I like, but it keeps crashing on me for no apparent reason. (Sometimes 15-20 times a day) It's the only browser that gives me trouble and I run all of the Win compatible browsers. *sigh*

Well see, this can't really be an issue with the browser, since it doesn't happen at all to other users. Such problems are usually because of the way your box is configured...

and when you view amazon.com some of the page info are missing and this view corrects it (supposedly) also msft sites crash or are missing data, like espn and msn.com

isn't the problem with viewing msn.com something that microsoft did on purpose..?

It's annoying to update Opera because it resets my configuration!!

Search through the Opera forums, you'll find some interesting info. There is a completely new .ini tweaking way now, I'm sure it'll all be revealed when 7.1 goes public.

Opera is kewl, eh. The only prob I have with it is it pauses when it goes to download an ad and that really gets on my head. I've sometimes wanted to just leave it but let's face it- Opera is far better then the other outdated browsers!

Opera has been my default browser on my laptop and home computer for over 6 months. I only have 2 or 3 websites I have to use IE for, because Opera dosen't display them correctly. Both websites state on their home pages, best viewed with IE....... hopefully one day Opera will display even IE built pages 100% of the time correctly. That of course, is if opera can figure out what kind of crap Frontpage does in creating a page that Opera can't render properly.....

I prefer Phoenix myself (mouse gestures mainly, but the Gecko rendering engine, tabbed browsing, cookie privacy, pop-up blocking helps A LOT). What's good about Mozilla is the fact that it is open source, it has the most standards compliant rendering engine in existence, and it offers every major browser innovation either through the main build or from extensions. I can never go back to IE as a main browser now but I'm getting used to Opera 7.03 as of late.
can u click the "Hotlist" button? clicking it doesnt show up the side bar, so i have to go to "view" to make it appear
Yeah, I had this problem, removing the button from the toolbar and adding it back in did the trick.

SUPERAntiSpyware is a great product, all the industry experts agree. I thought you all might like to know you can get 20% off the PRO version - SUPERAntiSpyware. Not seen this offer anywhere else. Dave.
