- any page rendering fixes?
-
#12 Posted by Darkwolven on 10 Apr 2003 - 22:14
- Well...they have to be known for something I guess. Too bad their javascript rendering sucks. In one week I have found a hand full of websites using javascripted menus that won't work with Opera at all and instead had to revert to Mozilla or IE.
Otherwise, the browser is good.

- Opera - the worst rendering engine on earth. (IMHO, of course...) Still, I use it once and awhile.

wow, you must have some freakishly high standards then.

- you are an idiot Mr Black. Opera 7 is the highest standards supporting browser in existance. It even beats the newest versions of Mozilla, unbelievably. Google Opera 7 web standards adn you will see that you are truely an idiot for making such an unfounded claim. If you were talking about versions before version 7 you might have a leg to stand on but alas, nope. This browser is the fastest, most complete web browser I have ever used. Every day I wish I could integrate it further within my OS. There are still rendering errors, mainly dealing with ABS positioning within elements, but most of the time they are cases where IE would choke long before Opera would. There are no Javascript problems with this Opera browser unless the Javascript is using proprietary MS Jscript. Ishmael
