- seems to be down. kinda par for the softnews course, eh?
when will they learn to host the file, rather than linking to it?
edit: never mind. found it. try clicking "Download Metropolitan" if the other mirrors won't work.

- there is no v2.5 for kazaa lite. v2.1.1 is still in testing and will be the next release.
there is nothing new in these recent rc's compared to earlier ones, just some bug fixes and updates.

- BTW it has been requested that tech sites DO NOT link to the beta versions.. and hence why softnews gets nasty folder names on the server. Maybe neowin should also respect the wishes of the developers for links to the download to not be posted until it goes final..

- Neowin needs to quit linking to beta versions, and it has been requested many times before by the developers to not directly link to the downloads.

- what the hell?? i like that neowin links to the beta versions. i really appreciate not having to wait so damn long until the final version is released so i can get the new features. the KL website says the release date won't even be ANNOUNCED until the 3rd week of july. come on! i've been using beta versions of 2.1.1 now for almost a month and would be pissed to not have access to any of the new features because of how long it's taking for the final ver to come out...

- I have 2 things to tell you:
1. Windows XP only needed 2 RC's but this has reached 22 RC's
2. Even without the Adware and Spyware, P2P File Sharing (Espespecialy for music) is very bad and even badder if it is copyrighted material so it should be that the P2P file swapping for copyrighted material should END right now (maybe even fully ended) -

- theres a huge difference between windows xp and Kazaa lite. Come on man give it a chance. u are forgetting Microsoft wrote windows xp with hundreds (probabaly thousands) of programmers and billions of dollars of research behind then. There was also probably loads of internal builds that we (the public) never got to see.
