- Has anyone used this yet? I'd be curious to hear if anyone has tried this vs. the new Digital Image Library 9, which I just love, from Microsoft (also included with MSN Premium).

- There is also a new program called Adobe Photoshop Album 2.0 Starter Edition. I'm gonna download that, I think it has simple editing and basic search and library functions. The download thing on Adobe isn't working right now, I'll try tomorrow.

Edit: Oops, Neowin has a direct link. Yum, downloading...

- I downloaded the free one, and its actually OK! I do think it has too many plugs for the full version (every dialog box plus half of the menu options have plugs), but its pretty good about that.

- I have one problem. I bought Album 1.0 because it was a really good program, but then just a few months later here's a new version. I don't think this is a very wise option if Adobe wants to make customers happy.
BUT it is an excellent program. If you have tons of photos like I do this really is a life saver.

- That is the chance you take. It has been out for quite some time (version 1). I had the same thing happen with Macromedia Studio MX and now Studio MX 2004 is here.

- The 1.0 was a TRYOUT . With the 2.0 they have included a full version just a limited full version called STARTUP EDITION. It lets you have as many photos as you want and lets you do common tasks (but reminds of the tasks you could do on the full retail version). In 1.0 it gave more options to test but only allowed a limited number of files to cataloged (that is why it was just a tryout)

- Version 1.0 was so buggy, version 2.0 should be a free upgrade to current owners.

- I bought Version 1.0 and it was unusable because it was so buggy. I´m not even gonna test V 2.0
What a pitty, because I really like the concept of that software.

- I'll stick to Photoshop Album 1. This should've been free or like $10 for existing users.

This can range from using the company's email servers to store illicit material or send out spam, to major breaches where funds or company secrets are stolen.
Since its inception the NHTCU has arrested over 100 people, ninety per cent of whom had an IT background.
It has found criminals are devoting significant resources to penetrating IT departments over long periods of time.
"We've had cases where an organised gang has put someone through an IT degree just to infiltrate a company," said David Porter, head of security and risk at security consultant Detica.
"Once in a job they had access to all kinds of sensitive information."
Hynds also called for more staff to deal with the increase in computer crime around the country, and praised the level of international co-operation the NHTCU was receiving from police forces around the world.
Recent successes for the unit include becoming a member of the south east Asian police information sharing network.
The NHTCU is also redesigning its website to become a single point of contact for businesses suffering from computer crime.
