Window Media Player Classic is an enhanced version of Windows Media Player 6.4. This program can play DVDs with help of external decoders like WinDVD and it can also play Realmedia files, if realplayer one is installed.

also this is by far the best player out there, it is always being updated and even will play your broken video files. I have downloaded vids that got corrupt and MPC will still play them so I can at least see if I want to download again or whatever. If you are looking for a power yet not bloated player this is it and it doesn't hurt that is plays Real Audio and Vid and Quicktime

just to clarify, windows media player classic is not the same as the original windows media player that is found in windows 95. wmpc has the ability to play divx and many other formats. so get this now!!!!

2. I just looks like MP 6.4.
3. MP 6.4, or even WiMP can't handle all the lovely codecs that MPC can.

This is MY favorite Media Player.
I tried ZoomPlayer and i couldn't get it to do what I wanted it to with the TV-Out.

this is the ONLY video player you will ever need. for ANY video format. divx, quicktime, real, wmv, you name it. and it's completely unbloated. try it and love it.

just found out that media player classic can play bink files just by putting binkw32.dll in the save dir

what i dont like about it is you have to download seperate codecs for everything AND there is no installer for it.

one other thing that really SHOULD be added is video contrast/brightness adjustments. These REALLY come in handy with those dark videos.
